If you're new to the Internet, or if this is the first time you've done anything like this, we completely understand how intimidating this process can be. We're here to help guide you through it! We could take you through an impersonal automated process, but to provide you with the best possible service, we would prefer that you call us. If you're already familiar with this process, you can give us most of the information we need in an email, but we will ask you to call with your credit card information. If you'd prefer the impersonal automated process, don't despair . . . we'll have that available soon.

Please have the following information ready when you call or include it in your email:

• Business name (if you have one)
• First Name
• Last Name
• Street Address
• City
• State
• Zip Code
• Country
• Telephone number
• Fax number
• Email address where we can contact you
• Domain name
  • if you are transferring your domain hosting, there will be a charge of $7.95 for 1 year of additional domain registration. You can avoid this charge by contacting your domain registrar and changing the DNS information on your account to point to your new magicInet host. (You'll receive instructions on how to do this when your new website is set up.)
  • We can also help you register a new domain name at $6.95/year for the first 3 years. Your first year of domain registration is free when your website is hosted by magicInet.  
• Type of payment (visa, mastercard, check)
  NOTE: Please DO NOT include your credit card number in an unsecure email. You can call us at 888.808.7154 with your credit card information, or you can use your PayPal account to "send money" to the email address we'll give you when you call. If you send a check, please allow 3 weeks for your account to become active.

We'll also need to know how long you'd like your site hosted with magicInet. All hosting is billed in advance for the full period of time:

• 1 year hosting: $12.97/month billed at $155.64 for the year.
• 2 year hosting: $10.97/month billed at $263.28 for the full two years.

In order for us to set up your website hosting account, you'll need to choose a PASSWORD. We recommend selecting a password that only you will know. Your password should be a combination of no less than 6 letters and numbers. Your PASSWORD is required before we can set up your account. A USERNAME will be automatically assigned consisting of the first 8 characters of your domain name.

It will take approximately 24-48 hours for your website to become active after you have completed your registration with us. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your temporary site and a link to your Vdeck ADMIN page once your site is active.
